Dining out in and around the Humber Valley

Humber Valley Resort and the local area offer a variety of dining options to suit a range of tastes. Every chalet has a large, fully equipped kitchen and dining area, perfect for self catering and additionally the Resort provides imaginative programmes and dining styles allowing guests complete variety in their culinary experiences.

With a diverse and talented team, the Resort’s Food and Beverage department combines creativity, high-quality ingredients and use of local produce to continually enhance the dining offerings. The Resort maintains an up to date list of places to eat locally and has several bars and restaurants of its own each aimed at providing a different dining experience.

 

Eagle’s Perch Banquet Room

The Eagle’s Perch Banquet room provides a spectacular panoramic view of the Valley and is the heart of the Resort. With seating for up to 150 people it is ideal for organized functions. In season it hosts a programme of Resort planned events including the locally renowned Sunday buffet brunch, a year round feature.

 

Eagle’s Perch Lounge

Located on the main level of the Eagle’s Perch, the well appointed lounge bar provides views of the valley and golf course. With a large open air balcony, it provides an excellent place to relax after golf, on arrival at the Resort on charter flight days and for private receptions and functions. The Resort also runs feature events in season such as the popular Tapas evening providing guests an opportunity to mingle and make new friends.

 

Sully’s at the Beach House

The Beach House, as its name suggests, can be found right on the water and in addition to Sully’s houses the summer activity centre. In the style of a family restaurant and pub, Sully’s provides a popular place to meet and is open daily for breakfast, lunch and supper or just snacks and drinks. A large outdoor patio deck lends itself to dining in the fresh air and provides access to the Resort’s Beach where, BBQ’s, lobster boils and bonfire parties provide fun and relaxed entertainment.

 

Mansion Pool Dining Room at Strawberry Hill Resort

The Mansion Pool Dining Room is located in Strawberry Hill Resort, a heritage property steeped in history that has served Queen Elizabeth II and the United States President Dwight D. Eisenhower. The dining room provides a spectacular view of the Humber River and offers a unique atmosphere, truly fitting for an intimate dinner of fine quality foods and wine. Reservations are recommended for evening dining.

 

Other Dining Options

Outside the Resort the towns of Corner Brook, Pasadena and Deer Lake provide restaurants ranging from well known branded fast food to individually run venues offering a flavour of local fare.
